Yesterday, January 28, 2024, we were privileged to immerse ourselves in a profound sermon aptly titled ‘Make Fat Thy Bones and Be Like a Watered Garden.” inspired by the scripture found in Isaiah 58:6-12.
In this scripture, we encountered a divine invitation to a transformative fast—one that goes beyond mere abstention and calls us to address the very essence of righteousness. Isaiah guides us through the chosen fast that God desires, emphasizing breaking the bonds of wickedness, liberating the oppressed, and extending compassion to those in need.
This passage serves as a poignant reminder that our connection with God is the key to addressing every aspect of our lives. As we delve into the verses, we are reminded that God is the answer to everything we need. His light brings dawn, healing, and righteousness, while His guidance satisfies and strengthens us, making us like watered gardens, ever abundant and fruitful.
Let’s reflect on these verses and the profound message they carry. For those who may have missed this impactful preaching or wish to revisit its transformative contents, I am pleased to share the recording with you (Click here:). May it continue to inspire and guide you in your spiritual journey.
Blessings to each of us!
